Galloways Australia is fairly unusual in that, as well as the usual registration facilities all breed associations provide, subscriptions subsidise our dinners and other association focussed activities. There is a fair bit of work to bring it all together and none of the committee members are paid for their efforts; it’s all voluntary!  We really rely on subscriptions to produce the President’s Bulletin, the Magazine and to keep flying the flag at Field Days such as Moss Vale, Mudgee, Murrumbateman andTocal.

Please note our Junior Associate category.  We encourage young people interested in promoting this great secret of the beef industry to join.

Members are reminded that in addition to voting rights and discounted registration of animals, membership privileges include being able to have your own webpage, listing of Galloway breeds’ semen you wish to sell and classified ads on this website. These great marketing opportunities and others provided during the year through various stud listings are only available to members free of charge.  Associates are encouraged to contact the Secretary to discuss the advantages of full membership.

Please note that Galloways Australia is incorporated under the ACT Government’s ‘Model Rules’ which serves as the Association’s constitution. Under the ‘Model Rules,’ a member is defined as a (single) person. This precludes joint membership, family membership, or membership under a business, trading or property name.  Only the nominated member has voting entitlement under the Model Rules.
